Teacher's breakthrough: Celebrity lesson on healthy food

Speaking and vocabulary activities for students with Gwyneth  Paltrow interview about her eating habits and daily routine. 

The idea of using celebrity interviews for teaching English came to me while watching YouTube 😄 It is conversational and it is engaging and always fun.

Even though the interview was supposed to be on food, it is a good example for talking about daily routine. 

You can open the discussion about healthy eating habits and daily meals before watching the video. 

The vocabulary almost doesn't need any additional explanations. It is enough to include a few pictures to illustrate food-related vocabulary. 

Gap-fill exercise after watching the video will focus students on specific vocabulary to talk about daily routine. 

The second exercise is to describe Gwyneth Paltrow's daily routine using the picture:

After this exercise students will be more prepared to talk about their day

And finally, discussion questions comprised of some key vocabulary.
